I was trying to post the below two photos of John William Mynhier 
(born May 29, 1850 in Menifee Co; died February 27, 1930 in Bath Co.) 
& Mary Jane Wages (born July 6, 1855 in Magoffin Co; died Oct. 31, 1934 in Bath Co.), 
who married on March 20, 1873 in Morgan Co.
 
    The first (mynhier-john.jpg) comes from a tintype, which was probably taken in 1883.  
The parents are John William Mynhier and Mary Jane Wages Mynhier.  The two boys in the 
back and James Augustus ("Gus") Mynhier (b. March 29, 1878 in Salt Lick, Bath Co; died 
June 16, 1946 in Madison, WV); and Allie Mynhier (Spanish American War veteran; 
born July 29, 1874 in Salt Lick, Bath Co.; died March 14, 1966 in Bath Co).  
The little girl standing front and center is Fannie Mae Mynhier (my grandmother) 
(married William Asa Hall) (Fannie was born Aug. 29, 1880 in Kentucky; died Feb. 6, 1978 
in Pinellas Co., Florida).  The baby in the mother's lap is Walter Mynhier (born July 1, 1883 
in Ky; died Jan. 28, 1968 in Bath Co).  This family subsequently included 3 other 
children:  Edgar Mynhier (who was probably born around 1885 and died young; probably 
at between 1 and 2 years of age); Fred Mynhier (b. Aug. 24, 1888 in Olympia, Bath Co; 
died Oct. 18, 1951 in Floyd Co.); and Lillie Mynhier (born June 7, 1892 in Kentucky; 
died Aug. 28, 1983 in Bath or Rowan Co. (married Bee Runner).
 
    The second picture (mynhier-john1.jpg) is Mary Jane and John 40+ years later, probably 
in the late 1920s, and probably taken in Bath Co., where they both died, in 1934 and 1930, 
respectively.
 
    I know quite a bit about these families in case I can be of help to anyone.  
Please feel free to use these pictures and this information in any way you see fit.  
I was specifically trying to get them on the yahoogroup web site (I joined this morning, 
both as bettyjeanhall@aol.com and kentuckian46@yahoo, because the aol is my main e-mail 
address and I couldn't seem to get it on using that at first).  I opened a "Mynhier-Wages" 
photo album on that site but couldn't get these pictures in it.
